Carriageworks is currently seeking volunteers for its upcoming exhibition Mike Parr: The Eternal Opening presented from 25th October – 8th December 2019.

This is a fantastic opportunity for students to receive training and behind the scenes experience at Australia’s largest and most innovative multi-arts centre. In addition to our incentive program, which offers multiple benefits for hours contributed, volunteering provides great networking opportunities and places students in excellent stead for when casual and full-time positions open in Programming and Production, Visitor Services, and Events.

Shifts are on average 4 hours long and available Monday – Sunday. All details including a position description and how to apply can be found here. If you could please pass on this information to your students it would be greatly appreciated.

One week to go to submit your design. It’s all to play for!
Along with our friends at 4 PINES BEER, we’re inviting creative designers, artists, graphic designers and students to submit their artwork to be incorporated onto the iconic facade of the Darlo Bar!
The aim of this artwork is to add to the social amenity of the area and allowing our wonderful artistic community to weave their talent onto our walls.
The winning artist will have their designs translated onto the northern back wall of the Darlo Bar (Darlinghurst Road side), as well as winning $3000 (yes – $3K!) in prize money, and $2,000 in art supplies. And kudos. So much kudos!
